2020 Schedule

The Paragon Splash and Dash is a series of races held on Sundays throughout the summer.

Youth between the ages of 5 and 17 are invited to join!

Event details

Paragon Training offers you a fun event meant for kids new to swimming and/or running, and for more seasoned athletes. Set new goals for the summer and get involved!

The event is held in the outdoor pool at the Jewish Community Center. Each participant will line up in order of bib number at the start of their designated lane. Swimmers will exit the pool through the zero-depth exit, run up to their designated spot in the transition area where they put their shoes, and continue the run either through Phil Hardberger Park West, or straight to the finish line at the soccer fields. The course is well marked, and there will be plenty of volunteers encouraging and directing each participant.

Participants must be between the ages of 5 and 17 to enter. The distances that each participant will complete are divided into three different categories based on age.

**We have lifeguards on staff, but we don't want to have to use them! Please make sure your child can safely swim the necessary distance.**

Registration

Registration is $25 for each participant. Two weeks prior to each race, the registration fee increases by $5, so sign up early!

**Each event in the series is a USA Triathlon Certified Race, and each participant must be a USAT member. It is only $10 for the Youth one-year membership. You can purchase your child's USAT membership during race registration.

In the case of bad weather, scheduling conflict, or cancellation, no refunds will be issued.
